Mediocrity

Failure Forward

“Oo human of limitless potential why does thee fall for mediocrity”

This is something that has been on my mind recently. Why don’t people see their own potential and realise that they are their own obstacles? Of course there are certain circumstances, but what stops one from pivoting and rethinking their strategy, to continue with grit and determination in the one direction you should be focused on, which is forward?

“The man who does not sink from self-crucifixion can never fail to accomplish the object upon which his heart is set” A quote from a book named “As a man Thinkth” by James Allen has stuck with me for many years and serves as a reminder of the potential that is possible.

Once discovered, people understand a simple formula: grit+tenacity+persistence is all thats needed to accomplish the goal which the heart is set, as Mushashi says “The way is in everything, you must study this” The way of mastery, the way of the archer, the way of the engineer all embody the same concept: The way.
